The National Climate Change Steering Committee (NCCSC) holds quarterly meetings to discuss and take decisions in line with its mandate.

The NCCS is a high level inter-ministerial body that provides policy guidance on climate change in Liberia. This 24th meeting of the NCCSC focuses on providing information on the global carbon market and how Liberia can benefit. It intends to build concensus and proffer policy advice on measures to guide carbon trade in Liberia.
The ongoing 24th meeting will further discuss the status of the wetlands and seeks a decision on actions to amilorate the problem.
